An independent project from Brazil

One dollar can keep a neighborhood business online.

Barbershops, salons, food trucks, bakeries and corner shops are the heart of Brazilian neighborhoods. Right now, many of them are fighting to survive. We built Nehood to give them free tools. We need your help to keep it running.

Why this matters

When the economy shakes, the corner shop feels it first.

Rising costs, tight credit, shrinking margins. Brazil's small businesses are carrying a heavy load, and most can't afford expensive software to organize, sell and stay connected with their customers.

✂️

Barbershops & salons

Missed appointments and paper notebooks cost real money. A simple online agenda can win back hours every week.

🍔

Restaurants & food trucks

Big delivery apps take a large cut of every order. A virtual menu and direct ordering keeps more of the revenue at home.

🛍️

Retail & local services

Independent shops compete against giants. They need affordable tools, not enterprise bills.

Our story

Six years of building. Zero funding.

Nehood started in 2020 with a simple idea: give neighborhood businesses the same quality of digital tools that large companies take for granted, with a design that anyone can use without training.

We have kept building ever since. But we have never received financial support. Keeping a website and an application online costs money every month, and carrying that alone is getting harder.

"We don't want to build a product for small businesses that only the big ones can afford."

Our goal is to move everything to the cloud properly and launch two plans: a free one for those who need it most, and a paid one that makes the project sustainable on its own. We just need a stable foundation to get there.

The plan

A free plan for those in need. A paid plan to keep it alive.

This is how Nehood becomes self-sustaining, so we never need to ask for help again.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this a scam?

No. Nehood is a real platform at nehood.com.br, in development since 2020. Donations go through PayPal's official donation page, and you can verify the recipient there before paying.

Where does my donation go?

To the costs of keeping the project alive: cloud hosting, domains, backups, security and the tools needed to keep the platform running and free for small businesses.

Is Nehood a registered charity?

No. It is an independent software project asking for voluntary support. Donations are not tax-deductible.

Will Nehood really stay free?

That's the goal: a free plan for small businesses, plus a paid plan that makes the project self-sustaining. Your support helps us get there.
